Ashwini was born on December 18, 1989 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He completed his BA in Economics and Statistics from Ruia College, Mumbai.
He then completed his LLB degree from a government college. He later completed his LLM degree from Mumbai University.
Ashwini was very active in the college cultural program. He has acted well in various plays.
