In 1996, she moved to Australia and completed her elementary education at a local school in Sydney. Then, jumped to the University of Sydney where the actress completed her degree in Information Technology. Japji Khaira often used to participate in beauty contests.
Also, in 2006, Miss Japji Khaira became the winner of Miss World Punjaban. After winning this contest, she became a popular personality and was widely recognized. In 2007, she made her acting debut with the Punjabi film “Mitti Wazan Mardi”, where she appeared in the role of “Preet” opposite Harbhajan Mann. The film became a super hit and got him a lot of fame. He got many offers for more films.
After that, Japji’s next film “ Dharti” was released on 22 April 2011. Here, she played the character of Suhana along with Binnu Dhillon, Jimmy Shergill, Surveen Chawla, and another star cast. Later, her other films came like “Singh Vs Kaur” (2013), “Pher Mamla Gadbad Gadbad ” (2013) Song as Roshan Prince’s (Actor) Wife, “Ishq Brandi” (2014), “Son Manjeet” Singh’s “(2018), ” Ardaas 2″, “Nauk Vahuti Da” (2019), ” Nanak” (2020) etcetera.
