Mahie Gill obtained his MA in Theater from Panjab University in 2003, after his initial studies. Then, through the Hindi film Heaven, she made her acting debut in 2003. Mahie Gill then participated in several Punjabi Movies like Sarf Punch Din and Khushi Mil Gayi.
Mahie Gill’s big break came when she played Paro in the popular Dev in 2009. D film by Anurag Kashyap. For her series, Mahie Gill was awarded the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress. It launched three more in the same year. Mahie Gill was featured in the superhit film Dabangg where she was a supporter.
