Prakruti Mishra started her film career as a child artist at the age of 5, her first films in which she worked as a child artist are Sabata Maa and Suna Pankhuri. In 2006, she won the Orissa State Film Award as a child artist for his film Sashughara Chalijibi.
In 2012, she made her debut as a female lead in Thukool and has since acted in more than 10 Oriya films.
