Swastika Mukherjee Early Life

Swastika Mukherjee was born on 13 December 1980 in Kolkata city of West Bengal province. She lived in childhood with her father Santu Mukhopadhyay, younger sister Ajopa and mother Gopa.

She completed her schooling from Carmel School, Kolkata, St. Teresa School and Gokhale Memorial School. In 1998, at the age of 18, she married singer Prameet Sen, son of Rabindra Sangeet singer exponent Sagar Sen.

She accused her husband of physically torturing her while pregnant and locking her out of their house, which led to her husband Sen getting divorced in the year 2000. Later on the idea of getting divorce was changed. According to the decision of the court, the allegations made by Swastika Mukherjee were false. In the year 2000, they had a daughter, who was named Anvesha.

In the year 2001, Swastika Mukherjee joined the Anand Shankar Center for Culture, where she learned the best of dance from the experienced Tanushree Shankar. She started dating artist Jeet during her film ‘Mustan’. After which she started a relationship with Parambrata Chatterjee on the sets of Break Fail.

She was still legally married, accusing Chatterjee of criminal adultery and wooing a married woman. This process came to an end when Chatterjee left for Bristol. They appeared in several films together, including Kranti, Krishnakantar Will and Partner.
