Tanmay Bhat is an Indian stand-up comedian, writer, artist, producer and co-founder of the creative agency All India Bakchod, along with Gursimranjit Singh Khamba.
Tanmay Bhat is a popular stand-up comedian besides co-founder of India’s famous comic podcast called “All India Backchod” (AIB). He is a versatile personality with being an artist, producer and writer in AIB.
It can be said that AIB is ruling the Indian YouTube arena by its witty, sarcastic and sometimes, even offensive stance. Tanmay Bhat has been included in the list of top ten comedians released by Times of India. He has garnered many fans with his excellent comic timing.

He was born on 23 July 1987 (age 33 in 2020). His hometown is Mumbai and he completed his early education from Sheth Chunilal Damodardas Barfiwala High School . He was a brilliant student during his school days and stood top in his class.
Tanmay Bhat was overweight since his school days. He had to go through the process of fat shaming since childhood. He decided to use humor to counteract all the things he did for being overweight.
He claims that being overweight has actually helped his comedy career as he made comedy a way to vent his own shame and rage. He even laughs sometimes stating the fact that the jokes made by the overweight Tanmay get a much better response from the audience. He actually built a ladder of success by the bricks that were thrown at him to bring him down.

Tanmay is a member of Virdas Comedy, a company started by Vir Das to write and act in comedy. She performed the opening stand act on the show “Walking on Broken Das Tour” organized by Vir Das.
